It’s a terrifying thought to consider what might happen if we just surrender and follow what is deep inside our heart:
What if I don’t make money pursuing my calling?
What if I lose the relationship I’ve been in for years?
What if I have to start all over again in a new career or a new life?
What if I am misunderstood? Rejected? What if my friends don’t ‘get’ me?
What if I admit my true feelings and I can’t go back?
What if I take a leap of faith and fall?
It is certainly enough to trigger one to resist the urge to follow the feeling (you know, the one inside your heart) and hide out in the safety of what we know (but doesn’t necessarily light us up).
But here’s another thought for your soul, one to soothe your fear and inspire your fire to make the CHANGE you are secretly yearning for:
What if by following your heart, you not only survive financially but earn more than you ever dreamed possible?
What if BECAUSE of your courage to pursue what you love, you discover that you are far more filled with confidence, strength, talent and potential than you realized?
What if you find new relationships that touch your heart and soul in profoundly deep and currently unimaginable ways?
What if the life that fills your cup is just waiting for you – on the other side of your worries?
And what if following your heart is not illogical, but rather the KEY to the above?
Maybe it will be scary – at first.
And maybe we will feel vulnerable – for a moment.
Maybe we won’t have all the answers or see all the steps.
And maybe we will have to fly blind until we see the way forwards.
But … we must listen to that which is inside of us. Otherwise, what are we living for?
Our hearts hold the answers to far more than we realise, including what to do with our money, our home, our business, our life’s work, our health, our relationships.
I believe that we feel what we feel for a reason that is far from random,
And,
My personal musing is that if we spend our lives holding back on what our heart calls and nudges us to do, then we miss out on SO much of what is possible.
Of the connection, the depth, the warmth, the miracles, the healing, the growth, the inspiration, the expansion that is available for us.
We could miss out on it all.
The awe. The love. The magic.
The dream career,
The relationships that fill us up,
The conversations that ignite us,
The growth we are capable of,
The experiences that forever change us.
It requires faith in what you cannot see and a belief that you are here for a GREATER existence to follow your heart: that’s what gives us the fortitude to take a step forward in the direction that lights us up.
To trust what we feel to do and what we feel to say,
To follow the path that calls to us and watch what unfolds,
To allow ourselves to have what we want,
To let our heart, as much as our head, lead our life.
This is the slipstream to an enriching and uplifted future – the one you desire and deserve.
One day, your life here will be over.
Your time will be up.
I know you don’t want to live timidly.
You don’t need all the answers to live with heart – just the faith that better, greater, more meaningful things are in store for you on the other side of your fear.
It’s all inside your heart.
